A BIT ABOUT US

Trust Your Doc is an initiative by the Alliance to the Medical Association of the State of Alabama to improve the health of our communities by strengthening the public's trust in their physicians. Because of the overwhelming amount of medical information that is found on-line, some of it inaccurate, individuals need to know why they should trust their doctors for diagnosis and treatment.

We will accomplish these goals by:

• Educating the public on the education requirements to become a physician

• Emphasizing how a physician's training and experience builds on their medical knowledge to make the most informed decisions in patient care

• Sharing with the public the personal commitment by each physician to caring for patients

• Highlighting the personal sacrifices made by physicians and their families

• TrustYourDocAlabama social media pages will share messaging that supports this initiative

• Volunteers will attend community events to share information with the public

The Alliance to the Medical Association of the State of Alabama (AMASA) is a group of physician spouses and physicians working in partnership with the Medical Association of the State of Alabama to support medical families and improve health. Since 1923, AMASA has served the state and local communities by promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting health-related charitable organizations.
